Like many recent MMOs, Blade and Soul is based on an oriental aesthetic, whose mythology is mixed with martials arts and an amazing world with several microclimates.
One of the best achieved elements is the latter, precisely: great landscapes and visuals, such as deserts, mountains, woods, coast and others. Also, the battle system is really good, which involves combos and special attacks. In this system the players must combine these two elements perfectly to win. In addition, Blade and Soul has a special mechanic called “Downed”, where the characters can recover when they are on the edge of death.
