MapleStory 2 Mesos farm - the best ways to get MS2 Mesos fast
MMORPGs are games based on resources. You invest time to get knowledge and make your way through levels. Grinding is based upon RNG, and knowledge lets you find new, even more efficient ways to make money. We are going to focus on MapleStory 2, published by Nexon. If you want to acquire that sweet equipment, start with this guide. The road for you to take is quite long, but it’s not as hard as you might think.
If you are looking for an easy, safe, and quick way of making mesos in MapleStory 2 in 2019, then you came to the right place. Ways and advice we are willing to share should help you slowly climb up the ladder of hierarchy, guiding you through the adventure of becoming one of the wealthiest players on your server.
Main Story and level 50
If you just started, you should focus on getting through main quest missions as it’s the fastest way to reach lvl 50. And it is where the fun begins. At this point, farming becomes very time efficient as you unlock daily missions, and after finishing the main quest, you should have well over 1-2 mil mesos in your storage already. It's mot that much, but you are not monetizing them yet.
Daily Missions
While seemingly tedious, if you want to maximize your mesos gain, dailies play a huge part, especially in the beginning. While rewards from one day might not look promising enough, if you stay consistent, imagine the amount of this currency you will earn in a week or a month. Finish dailies, sell your rewards on the black market, rinse, repeat. All it takes is some self-discipline and patience.
Enter the Dungeon
After completing dailies, you should look into dungeon runs. You can do 10 of these each day, with 30 dungeons per week limit. Gather party members, contact your guild, post a request in chat, or search through the Party Finder. The better people you group up with, the faster dungeons farming will be.
In the beginning, you will only be able to get through Normal Adventures. You can finish them in several minutes, and the drops you get will be very worth your time. Completing each one of your runs provides you with blue items. You should either put on your character, if they outscale the gear you already have on yourself, or use them directly to earn mesos through dismantling them. This activity will provide you with Onyx Crystals, which you can sell quickly on the Black Market since they are in high demand. Dismantling blue gear and selling the components is the best way in that case.
There is also a small chance of obtaining purple gear. Their prices are high for a starting player. Purple items can be sold for roughly 10 to 30 mil mesos, as they are scarce. And while it seems promising to sell them immediately, you are better off taking purple equipment for yourself, if it is suited for your class or one of your alts.
We would not recommend selling purple items, especially if you are a new player. Keep them to progress further into harder dungeons, where items you get are way more valuable. And maybe someday, with the right equipment, you will be able to hold your ground against a world boss.
World Bosses
In most MMORPG titles, there are these epic creatures scattered around the game's world, that are waiting for you to come and kill it. It is also the case for the MapleStory 2. There are a few world bosses there. Some require a group to down, some can be soloed; it depends mostly on your level. Nonetheless, killing them is the best way to give you a good loot which you can sell to get rich, or keep if it's good enough. You can dismantle it as well to have reagents for crafting skills. As you get better and better, you'll be able to farm mesos quite reliably.
Farming Potion Solvents
It's a straightforward mesos farming method. Solvents tend to drop from divine monsters, humanoid foes, devil monsters, or machine monsters with level 15+. Once you choose this method, you won't regret, but there is not much playing in it.
Pay Attention to Events
As in every other great MMORPG, events are not only the way of keeping the game’s content fresh, but they can be used by skilled players to make some quick gains. Each time a new event pops up, check the details on the MS2 site, watch some videos about it, figure out which items are the most valuable during this event. Make a list of them and focus on farming them. Check, which group of mobs is the most efficient in farming it. Keep mob density, and drop chance in mind, and grind the hell out of it.
Remember, after the event is over - potential meso may slip through your fingers. So be quick, event items have a high price, and they sell easily. Don’t be that one lazy player in the community that buys stuff from the market. Be the one puts in the effort, and you will be at the top of the food chain in no time. Buyers don’t make money in games.
Utilize your Alts
This one is a hot topic. What if we told you that you could basically multiply your income level sixfold? Or even ninefold, if you are willing to invest some real money into the game? Each character you create has its own Daily Quests and Weekly Adventures. Yeah, “wow, this sounds amazing,” right? It probably seems a bit tedious and boring too.
It might seem boring to do every activity 6 or 9 times on each different character, but it’s always a new experience. Look at it like that - maybe your Berserker or Soul Binder is not the right class for you. Perhaps its gameplay is not as fun as it should be? What about an Archer, or an Assassin?
Maybe you would like to be a long-range nuker as a Wizard, perhaps support Priest or a Knight sounds better? For us, nothing sounds better than making some holes in enemies with some big guns used by Heavy Gunner. You should experience everything this game has to offer, and play at least few level of each class.
Plus, there is no better way of learning how to counter the enemy character than to play it. The theory is one thing, but the practice is a different animal. This way, not only will you get insanely rich, but you will also learn the game.
