The Managarm is a legendary hound that lives in the hidden depths of Alabathia´s Spine. This mount was introduced in Path 4.1. 

To get this fire hound, you need to participate in the ‘Recruit a Friend Campaign.’ 

The goal is recruitment up to five friends, and you get 5 Gold Chocobo Feathers and more. You can use these feathers to trade special items to the Calamity Salvager, a special NPC located in the three great cities.

Amber Draught Chocobo

“What about my forty acres and a Chocobo?”

This is a mount introduced in Patch 2.3 obtainable as a reward in the ‘Recruit a Friend Campaign.’ 

You can get the Draught Chocobo Whistle to summon this mount by trading with the Calamity Salvager NPC. You need eight gold Chocobo feathers to obtain this special item. You may find the Calamity Salvager in Limsa Lominsa, Old Gridania, and Ul´dah. 

Twintania mount

“There are wyverns. Wyverns everywhere”.

 Twintania is a legendary and ancient wyvern from the southern continent of Meracydia who dreams of freedom. Just like the two previous cases, to get Twintania, you need to be part of ‘The Recruit a Friend Campaign’ and get the 15 Gold Chocobo Feathers necessary to purchase this wyvern.

Epimetheus

This is a mount obtained in The Feast: Season 14 as a reward for the top 100 players of each data center at the end of the season. 

To get this machine, you need to obtain the Epimetheus Identification Key, a thin rectangular piece of Cermet. 

You can exchange this key for a Season Fourteen Pack Wolf Voucher C by trading with the Feast Quartermaster located in the Wolves’ Den Pier. 

Firebird mount

“I was hoping for a fine bird.”

You need to complete the side quest ‘Fiery Wings, Fiery Hearts’ to summon this bird from the far east who is willing to sacrifice its life to save the world. The two objectives of this quest are:

• Seek out the walking atla’s employer.
• Head to the Dravanian Hinterlands and blow the Firebird whistle in a specific location.

Dodo 

“Those are some interestin'-lookin' dodos ye've got there.”

A nest of Dodo has recently been discovered in the upper echelons of Heaven of High, therefore head to the dungeon. You can acquire the Dodo Horn, the instrument you need to summon this strange bird rarely from Platinum-haloed Sacks in Heaven on High.

Completing the battle achievement ‘Tank you Dark Knight III’ will reward you with the Battle Bear Horn. The tasks you need to complete are the following:

• Complete 300 Lvl. 61 and above dungeons, extreme trials, level 50/60 duty roulette dungeons, or duty roulette duties as a dark knight.

Aerodynamics system

Completing the frontline achievement ‘In a Blaze of Glory V’ will reward you with the Aerodynamics system key, giving you access to this particular mount.
